Commitment over Circumstance
Ancil Abney explores the Life of Job in a message titled Commitment over Circumstance.
Some things we can learn from Job:
1. Loss is a four letter word
No one likes to lose. Job lost everything; children, businesses, wealth and health.
2. It’s ok to get mad at God
Without losing sight of who God is. Even with his loss he did not curse God. We ask, “God, where are you?” at times.
3. Job Worshiped God
Job worshiped God in his circumstance. He realized that everything he lost had been given to him by God in the first place.
